Gayathri Coffee is located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The enterprise was established in June 2008 by M L Akshay Chakravarthy (36). The enterprise is engaged in the processing of products like Coffee Powder and Tea Powder.

M L Akshay Chakravarthy, wanted to upgrade his enterprise in order to meet the increasing market demand for the products. He came to know about the PM Formalisation of Micro food processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme through the online portal. With assistance from Karnataka State Agricultural Produce Processing and Export Corporation Limited (KAPPEC) and the State Project Management Unit (SPMU), he received a bank loan (Canara Bank) under the PMFME Scheme. With this loan amount, he purchased a Coffee Grinder, a Coffee and Chicory Blender and a Coffee Packing Machine.

After the installation of the machinery, the per day production capacity of the enterprise has increased from 30kg to 200kg. The increase witnessed in the production capacity has also resulted in an increment in the daily profit generation of the enterprise from Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 10,000.

The products are being marketed via local stores, retail outlets and in wholesale. The enterprise is also marketing the products through social media platforms, website and e-commerce platforms. The financial turnover of Gayathri Coffee for FY 2021-22 was Rs. 10,00,000/-
