Techinutsu Pickle Processing is located in Lengrijan, Industrial Village (Razhuphe), Dimapur, Nagaland. The enterprise is a family-run business that was established in 2011 by Ms.Techinutsu (58) and currently, is it being run by her daughter Ms.Takochila, who is a beneficiary under PMFME Scheme. The enterprise is engaged in the processing of Pickles like Bamboo Shoot Pickle, Naga King Chilly Pickle, Solanum Pickle, Mixed Pickles, etc.
Ms. Takochila wanted to upgrade her enterprise in order to meet the increasing market demand for the products. She came to know about the PM Formalisation of Micro food processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme through social media. After applying under the PMFME Scheme, she received a bank loan (State Bank of India) of Rs.5,64,000. With the loan amount, she purchased a Semi-Automatic Head Rotating SS Body Machine, a Voltas Deep Freezer and a Semi-Automatic Pickle Filling Machine.
After the installation of the machinery, the per day production capacity of the enterprise increased from 40kg to 70kg. The daily profit generation of the enterprise also witnessed an increase from Rs.15,000 to Rs.25,000.
The products are being marketed via local stores and wholesale in Dimapur. The enterprise is also marketing the products through the Instagram account ilandlo_official. The account promotes artisans and entrepreneurs from North-east India and ships their products all over India. The financial turnover of Techinutsu Pickle Processing for FY 2021-22 was Rs.18,20,565.
