Ruchi Food Products is located in Lohagaon, Pune, Maharashtra, India. Established in March 2006 by Mrs. Sangita Vijay Bagul (48), the enterprise is engaged in the processing of products like Pickles, Chutney, Instant Mixes, Beverages, Snacks, Laddoos and other Organic Products.

Mrs. Sangita Vijay Bagul wanted to upgrade her enterprise in order to meet the increasing market demand for the products. She came to know about the PM Formalisation of Micro food processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme through the Commissionerate of Agriculture, Maharashtra. After applying under the PMFME Scheme, she received a bank loan (Canara Bank) of Rs.9,55,466/-. With the loan amount, she purchased a Grinder, a Pulverizer, a Laddoo Making Machine and a Mixing Machine.

After the installation of the machinery, the per day production capacity of the enterprise increased from 40kg to 100kg. The increase witnessed in the production capacity of the enterprise was also reflected in the daily profit generation of the enterprise which increased from Rs.1000 to Rs.3000.

The products are being marketed pan India under the brand name “Harshaman” via local stores, retail outlets and wholesale. The enterprise is marketing the products through its website, social media platforms and e-commerce platforms. The financial turnover of Ruchi Food Products for FY 2021-22 was Rs.89,00,000.
