HoneyFlo Organics is located in Dhunike & Bandi Village, Bathinda District, Punjab. Established in January 2021, the enterprise is dedicated to the processing, branding, and marketing of honey which has been classified as the One District One Product for Bathinda District under the PM Formalisation of Micro food processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme.

Before setting up of HoneyFlo Organics, Ranju Garg (founder) and her son Abhinav Garg had been engaged in beekeeping and honey processing for more than 8 years. The enterprise had initially started its business with 100 bee boxes has now expanded to 800 bee boxes.

Ranju Garg applied to the PM Formalisation of Micro food processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme to upgrade her enterprise and take her business to the next level. Upon receiving the loan in April 2021, the entrepreneur purchased a honey processing plant, a packaging machine, and a honey filling machine.

The processing of Honey takes place in three stages. The first stage involves the extraction of raw honey from the bee boxes. Upon extraction of the raw honey, the second stage involves the purification of honey via the separation of the raw honey from the bee wax. The final stage is where the raw honey is transferred into the filling machine for final packaging.

PMFME Scheme has enabled Ranju Garg’s enterprise HoneyFlo Organics to become an Aatmanirbhar Enterprise with industry-standard infrastructure that has helped her business to grow exponentially. With the Scheme’s support, she is successfully marketing her products in Punjab and all over India via e-commerce platforms and by utilizing digital marketing tools.

Ranju Garg envisions to emerge as a global level successful brand. She believes that promoting honey on a global level will increase the market demand for the product and it will support the micro food processing sector especially Self Help Groups engaged in honey processing.
